Delete your account

You can delete your Vela account at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

• Your account, display name, and email address
• Your coin balance and full transaction history
• Any VIP subscription record
• Episodes you have unlocked, your watchlist, and your viewing history
• Any series you uploaded that was never published, including its episodes

What we keep

Series you published stay on Vela and remain watchable, but are no longer linked to you or to any account. We do this because other viewers may have spent coins unlocking those episodes, and deleting your account should not take away what they paid for.

We also retain records of completed payments where tax and accounting law requires it. These are held by our payment providers, Google Play and Stripe, and are no longer linked to your profile. Moderation decisions made on content are kept without your identity attached.
